thanksgiving is almost here!

In case anyone missed this...
Renewed Trust in System

I would like to congratulate the Democratic Party on its inspiring political victories earlier this week.

While I am not affiliated with any specific party - I'm what a friend of mine would call "bipartisan curious" - this week's elections have restored my faith in the democratic process. A frustrated nation has expressed its disappointment with, among other things, the Bush administration's irresponsible foreign policies, and its voice was heard. The possibility of change is in view.

Well done, America. God bless true democracy.

Let's give it up for Matt, and his apparently still closeted "friend" Chris, for raising awareness of the bipartisan curious community. We shall not hide in the shadows any longer—rise up and be proud!

i just came across this article from prevention.com that talks about the health risks of night time light exposure (and not just to women, though the study deals mostly with breast cancer). i don't want to scare anyone, but it's worth reading:

The Light-Cancer Connection

this raises some interesting questions about our lifestyle as design students. amanda nights + amanda lights = ?

thoughts?
